I used to think a lot about how I could please God. Basically wondering, “He’s done so much for me, what can I do to please Him?” “What can I do to glorify Him?”

Every year our community hosts its annual Orange City Tulip Festival. 3+ days of Dutch costumes, fun, food, rides, parades, and lots of people.

Reading, knowing, and using the Word of God in our lives is so important for those of us who claim Christ as Lord.

God uses experiences to teach use, to nudge us, to mold us for future challenges, even at times to shake us awake and get us back on the right path.

Throughout my life I’ve witnessed the power of words…both in my own life and the lives of others. I’ve also seen both the good and the bad that come with it. I’m sure you can relate to that.

I have been feeling very thankful lately. And I’ve noticed that I’ve been feeling closer to the Lord as well.

There is a great mystery in the Bible, the understanding of which can bring great clarity to many misunderstood doctrinal positions. The mystery I speak of the Bible calls the “Sacred Threshold”.
